I am Biscuit Boy.
I'm full of sugar but I am good for you.
As suspected, the poster printing is a hell of a job. Every poster has a subtly different size, and each of them is larger than the size recommended by our poster service. So I am having to resize each one, check it and then send it to print. I don't want to send too many in case I have flamingoed up, but I can't afford to sit on too many as the print queue is never empty. I'm sure I'm going to be moaned at either way.
The ones I've been given today are only the tip of the iceberg.
The traffic wardens are out. It's nice to watch the car's being booked especially those who think that parking ON THE PAVEMENT is in any way safer/legal. Parking at the university is one of the most controversial issues that we have, particularly at the start of term. I can see both sides of the argument, but only a fool parks here without a permit. Or a student. The university really needs to build a multi-storey car park or something, but they can only do that if they start charging for parking and parking charges are quite distant. I hope. I, for one, would refuse to pay to park outside the department unless security was dramatically improved.
