I think the virus from hell has mutated and come back. I felt a bit strange last night after my tea, and went for a lie down for an hour or so. Then I decided that it wasn't really helping so got up, told myself it was indigestion and went out to a soiree I had been invited to.
I admit, I may then have had a bit more alcohol than I should have but when gin drinkers gather...
Anway I went to bed at 2.45 am and woke up at 5.30 with such a sore throat, it's unbelievable, so I got a drink of juice and went to bed. Every hour it was" drink juice, drink juice" until I gave up at 8 am and came downstairs. Sitting up seems to have dislodged something because tubes are clearing here at an alarming rate. I shall spare you the details.
I just don't know if going back to bed is going to mean that I back up again. But I need my sleep, I can't live on 5 hours sleep two nights running. And I'm in pain. I just hope that it isn't the horrible flu thing that I had, then gave to Caroline. Because I don't think I can live being ill 2 weeks out of every four while this bastard hits me with new mutations.

Another film review
I went to see "Monsters inc." tonight.
All in all, not as good as "Shrek" or "Toy Story 2" but better than I expected. The animation was wonderful and of course the final credits where superb. I think I've nearly seen everything I want to see, but missed "From Hell" because it seemed to go on release with ne'er a whimper.
So, "ocean's 11" and "The Royal Tannenbaums" next. I'm steering well clear of "Iris" and "A Beautiful Mind".
