Success and failure...

Some things I have to remember for next year...
1. The bed by the greenhouse gets shaded and so seeds on the greenhouse side have failed to germinate. Next year... start on the bed at the other side.
2. No sign of parsnips again this year. Not sure what to do about that.
3. The mangetout are doing brilliantly but I've only a couple of straggly pea plants so far. I've tried a second sowing but... what am I doing wrong? Was I just too optimistic about temperature or am I destined to fail at peas?
4. Humphrey the Comfrey appears to be thriving now.
5. My wormery has suffered a bit. I think I overfilled it and the worms didn't like the rotting fruit. So I've stirred it around a bit, drained the fluid from the bottom and thrown in lime mix and newspaper. I'm not going to add to it for a few weeks and see if they recover. If not I think I'll have to buy some new worms and start again. It's a pity.
6. I eat my first produce of the year - tiny radish thinnings.
