I've one melon left. *sniff*

Got rid of some of my jobs last night with an hour or so at the plot. Still to do:
Plant tomatoes in the greenhouse.
Construct cold frame for broccoli.
Sow hunter french beans and courgettes indoors.
Turnip, Kohl rabi, pak choi.
Swede.
Transplant cabbage.
Feed roots and brassica
Sort out raspberry canes.
Apply mulch if possible.

It was lovely on the allotment last night. Not too warm. My broad beans are flowering although they appear to have some sort of bug on them. Good luck to it. I believe broad beans are the hardiest of plants. Met the couple who walk their dog in the evening - I haven't seen them since last year. They came on and admired Dad's beds and we chatted about the problems of allotmenting while working full time.

My broad beans have some blackfly, but not to badly yet. Also saw a ladybird lava near some of the blackfly - probably a good thing.
