Winning streak...

Last night was a charity fund raiser. A race night at the local parish club. I passed Dad a tenner and asked him to put my bets on for me which lead to muttering from some as Dad appeared to be paying out for the bet while I collected my winnings. I won £14 out of an £8 outlay although I spent £2 joining owner syndicates that failed. I also won a bottle of Eternity from a £1 raffle ticket! Sadly I spent more than this on Guinness and whiskey and sponsoring Helen in a charity run. Still, I'm hoping my lottery numbers have come up too.
