Well done Liverpool. That must have been agony for a fan to watch - it was bad enough for a neutral observer.

I just wish I could get over the '74 cup final & actually be pleased for Liverpool (but even 3 years living there & marrying a Merseysider didn't achieve it)!

As a Chelsea fan I hate playing Liverpool... the better team lost that tie.

My dad has spent every penalty shootout for the last 30+ years in the back garden. His bottle goes every time. You could always see him trying to peer in through the dining room windows.

But as my sister says - when he chickens out during a shootout, Liverpool win. Talismanic.
