On the home front.
I have a vox account in my real name, angrosin. I've no idea what I'm going to do with it but I can see my books, films and music posts moving over there and it being public me while LJ will remain rambling on about myself.
The evil tom is back despite my thinking him dead. He looks an awful lot more chipper, too, which makes me thing that someone more charitable than I has been looking after him. Unfortunately the stench that has reappeared in the yard makes me think that they haven't gone as far as getting him neutered. Patsy has started to look nervous again and I expect to come home to the stench of cat wee in my living room some time soon.
The front is out of bounds to her, too, at the moment, as the local yoofs seem to have decided that our little piece of park is the ideal place for them in the blustery weather. They have been making a bit of a nuisance of themselves, really, but so far it's only noise and it appears that the ringleader has to be in by 11 pm so it doesn't go on too long. My slight worry is that one of the neighbours with more time on their hands is going to go and say something and escalate the problem. [1]
( But I'm really wondering what to do about the house. )
[1] And I know that we shouldn't have to put up with that sort of antisocial behaviour etc. etc. but they really do get bored after a week or so and move on. Unless someone winds them up and then we find out car radio antennas nicked, or our plants destroyed, or any other number of petty crimes.
