Sue and I are starting a car share today. Four days a week (Sue doesn't work Wednesday) with her taking two days and I the other two. She's collecting me at 8.15 this morning which means I can't spent half the morning playing Internet Hearts. This is a GOOD thing. It also means that the shower isn't the last thing I can do when I get up anymore so I'm going to be leaping into the bathroom in a minute. And then probably leaping back out because it's so cold I can see my breath in there.

So I had four episodes of LOST on tape that I'd managed to miss over the festive season, and had caught up with due to the E4 marathon. The first three where a chore to sit through. Fortunately Sawyer eventually appeared with hardly any clothes on and my concentration levels peaked. Ep 23 with Mira Furlan was even quite fun although oblique references to "security systems" only serve to annoy me. I want to see a huge roaring metal polar bear and I want to see it now!

So that's LOST cleared from the decks and CSI: Miami at a merciful end and I can face the new TV schedules with vigour. Battlestar Galactica and a new series of Cold Case are imminent, House begins again in a couple of weeks, and by my estimation the final of CSI that I missed last year will be repeated some time in February.

They can't be anything other than oblique -- I doubt that even the scriptwriters and producers have worked out what's stomping through the jungle!

A hute roaring metal polar bear! It's obvious.

Or an AT AT and it's the last outpost of The Empire.
